Music from the heart
John has been actively involved with music and sound since his teenage years. This lifelong passion has been the central theme of his working career, seeking a balance of both technical and creative elements, and finding intriguing challenges and great rewards along the way.
John has also served in the Philadelphia chapter of the Producers & Engineers Wing of The Recording Academy (NARAS) since 2009.

- Photography, starting in the 1970s, from film to digital.
- Video and interactive multi-media projects, including soundtracks and Enhanded CDs.
- Editorial and layout projects for books, magazines, and technical documentation.
- Graphic design for exhibits, brochures, CD packages, websites, logos, promotional materials, and products.
- Website design, development, and support.
Tredyffrin Easttown Historical Society
John has served as webmaster, editor of the History Quarterly, and in leadership roles as a member of the board of directors, vice-president, and president of this respected local organization.
Philadelphia Curling Club
The sport of curling has become a favorite part of the colder months of the year, and John has also been involved in leadership and administrative roles at the club, serving as event organizer, webmaster, board member, membership coordinator, and secretary.
CURRENT ACTIVITIES
A music industry veteran with many years of technical and practical experience, currently Chief Engineer at Elm Street Studios, and also working & consulting on a wide variety of other projects.
